Bone Regeneration
CERASORB® M
Resorbable, pure-phase β-tricalcium phosphate
Setting the New Standard for Bone Grafting
A biomimetic bone graft, featuring unique interconnecting porosity that allows it to be completely resorbed while simultaneously creating new bone. Available in several granule sizes to best meet the bone resorption/remodeling needs of a variety of dental bone graft procedures.
Multiple Porosities
The highly engineered technology built into Cerasorb M closely mimicking human bone with a full range of Micro-Meso-Macro pores for interconnected porosity. The unique β-TCP particles interlock and provide an optimal microenvironment for cellular activity leading to bone remodeling.
Second to None
CERASORB® demonstrated successful bone regeneration with low complication rates in the study on benign and low-grade malignant tumors, establishing it as a strong alternative to autografts and allografts.
In a study involving 52 patients who underwent bone defect filling with CERASORB® M, 83% of cases exhibited excellent bone defect reduction, along with strong osseous integration and remodeling.
Over a 16-year period, a study of 106 patients using CERASORB® showed enhanced resorption and new bone formation, confirming its efficacy as a standalone solution without the need for biological enhancers.
Benefits
- No biologic contaminants
- Multi-porosity allowing full participation of bone forming cells and vascular structures important for new bone regeneration
- Various shapes and size granules important to reduce micro-movement during the bone formation process
Indications
- Filling, bridging, and/or repair of non-infected bone defects
- Plastic reconstruction of damaged or resected bone areas
- Filling of intervertebral grafts, e.g., as cage inserts
- Revision surgery
