Inside Dental Sales Specialist

Inside Dental Sales Specialist for Medical Device firm – curasan, Inc., a fast-growing medical device company, headquartered in the North Raleigh/Wake Forest, NC area seeks a full time Inside Dental Sales Specialist to contact our current and prospective dental professional customers to increase sales of our quality dental products.

Curasan, Inc. offers revolutionary products in the field of bone and tissue regeneration.  These innovative products are used by oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists and general dentists that perform implants and cosmetic procedures.  Sales calls are consultative and training will be provided.  Prior business-to-business telephone sales experience or dental industry experience is required.  You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals while providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.

Your Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting new and existing accounts by phone and/or email, in the region to develop relationships and increase sales.
  • Developing new accounts in geographically targeted areas by conducting initial and follow-up contacts to prospective customers, utilizing selling techniques and explaining the features and benefits of each product as appropriate.
  • Staying current on product knowledge and current marketing messages, programs and promotions.
  • Meet monthly quotas
  • Handling inbound/outbound calls to provide appropriate information and generate new sales and business opportunities.
  • Entering customer data into our customer database to maintain complete and accurate records.
  • Providing input to Marketing for developing increased sales opportunities.
  • Prior experience in medical or dental sales a plus.
  • Handle 80+ calls per day Outbound/Inbound

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prefer Bachelor’s Degree or Associates degree and experience in the dental field.
  • Professional written and verbal etiquette including business communication.
  • Successful experience selling products and/or services in a call center setting
  • Strong experience with customer service/customer care.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, high energy and desire to generate sales.
  • The ability to learn the technical features of the products and explain them to customers.
  • The ability to establish and maintain working relationships via telephone.
  • Excellent phone etiquette, outstanding communication skills and superior listening skills.
  • Experience in managing and organizing time and workload as well as multitask.
  • The ability to work on computer system and do data entry and well as calculate totals and percentages.
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
  • The ability to perform with minimal supervision.

Associate/Product/Senior Product Manager

Summary: Responsible for managing osteobiologic product lines.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
  2. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate and ethical sales methods.
  3. Perform market and competitive analysis.
  4. Respond to and follow up sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
  5. Support the selling activities through field training, field visits, surgeon corporate visits among others.
  6. Develop working relations with leading surgeons and staff to analyze their needs and maintain a dialog for current and new product support.
  7. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
  8. Serve on project teams to support new product/program development.
  9. Work with supervisor to develop annual marketing plans and oversee implementation and other tactical related activities.
  10. Communicate product related sales support information to field sales force in the form of product updates and other marketing materials
  11. Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
  12. Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.
  13. Support tradeshow activities as required
  14. Interact with purchasing/planning to ensure product availability meets demand including product portfolio and product mix.
  15. Acquire clinical competency in using all products with the highest level of proficiency.
  16. Coordinate the preparation of marketing materials including presentations, brochures, animation, and demo samples to effectively describe the product and its application.
  17. Prepare sales reports on a monthly basis to gauge use and provide feedback for planning.
  18. Ability to work independently with a focus on detail and execution.
  19. Ability to effectively communicate medical and scientific information in various forms.
  20. Proficient in computer software applications, excellent computer knowledge.
  21. Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  22. Ability to manage several complex projects in parallel.

Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree in science or related field. Product or Senior Product manager position requires 3+ years related corporate medical device experience preferably marketing high tech products in a healthcare field.

Supervision: This position reports to the President – North America

Location: This position is located in the greater Raleigh, NC area.

Travel Requirement: This position requires frequent overnight travel up to 30-40 % of the work week.
